  1. This is an amazing album. As a musician it is very inspirational to listen to the wonderful instrumentations. The only low point for me is the vocalist, he is very unimaginative and monotonous, even for brutal death metal. Without him, I wouldn't even consider Epitaph to be a death metal album/5(87).

  3. "Epitaph" is the third track on British progressive rock band King Crimson's album In the Court of the Crimson King. It was written by Robert Fripp, Ian McDonald, Greg Lake, and Michael Giles with lyrics written by Peter Sinfield.. The song is noted for its heavy use of the Mellotron, and as with the first track, "21st Century Schizoid Man", the song's lyrics have a distinctly dystopian.
